We are Paul and Rita Marois from Derry, New Hampshire. This is the home we share with our Norwegian Forest Cats. Our first Norwegian Cat was named Cujo because of his size. At his best Cujo weighed 19 pounds and had a beautiful double coat. Before Cujo came to live with us, we had devoted our spare time to the rescue of unfortunate cats and kittens who so desperately needed care and loving families.

We would rehabilitate them and place them in good homes and always keep some for ourselves. As Cujo moved into our household and hearts with our seven rescue cats, we immediately noticed how different he was from the others. He was highly intelligent and possessed the qualities that this breed is known for and much more demanding of our love than our other charges.

Showing Morgana & Marcelina

This is what led us to this wonderful breed of cat. Cujo left us in 1995 leaving a void in our lives. After his untimely death, we decided we had to have other Forest Cats.

CUJO

Our First Norwegian Forest Cat

We presently have our second Cujo named after our beloved first Forest Cat, We purchased him from Lynne Boroff at Advent Hill now located in Francistown NH. We also have three very special females that came to live with us and Cujo from Gyldenlove Cattery in Denmark which is owned by our good friends and mentors Carli Haekkerup and Michael Bakager. We will ever be so grateful for these beautiful females that amaze us with their personalities and beauty that change with every day.

We also imported Koeni's Red Pepper from Anja & Thomas von Koenen in Germany that we expect to breed with our queens. We have also kept three kittens from the "A Litter" because of their quality. We show in three organizations, TICA, CFF and CFA and we've met other breeders that we've become good friends with. We've most enjoyed meeting people and talking with them about this breed and letting them hold our treasures and share the joy in their eyes and hearts.
